Who is Low-intensity Vibration for?’

Safe, effective, proven

The precise Low-intensity Vibrations (LiV) produced by the Marodyne LiV device are medically-certified to be a safe and effective tool to prevent and combat osteoporosis.

Marodyne LiV is a safe, effective and proven therapy that can be used to:

  • prevent osteoporosis
  • increase bone mineral density
  • build muscle strength and mass
  • stimulate blood circulation and lymphatic flow
  • improve balance and co-ordination – reducing falls

Marodyne LiV is tested to deliver benefits to:

Older patients with osteoporosis:

As we age, the density and strength of our bones declines. The growth of new bone tissue decreases and the degradation of existing bone increases. People who are suffering from osteoporosis experience a rapid deterioration of bone strength. This can cause their bones to become brittle, which can cause painful fractures and breaks.

The precise Low-intensity Vibration produced by Marodyne LiV is medically-certified to prevent osteoporosis and osteopenia. The vibration stimulates bone growth (osteoblast) and inhibits osteoclasts (the breaking down of bone).

The machine is 100% safe and can be used alongside all prescription drugs for osteoporosis without any unwanted side effects.

Just 10 minutes of use every day helps maintain and stimulate the growth of your bones and can prevent osteoporosis and osteopenia.

Post menopausal women with poor bone health:

A one-year placebo-controlled research study of 70 post-menopausal women demonstrated that low-level vibration can inhibit bone loss in the spine and femur, with an increase in number and width of femoral trabeculae. The placebo group lost 2.13% in femoral neck bone mineral density (BMD) over the year, whereas the active cohort reported an average of 2.17% greater BMD compared to control at the end of the study

People at risk of developing osteoporosis:

Scientific research has demonstrated that Low-intensity Vibration (LiV) can slow the process of deconditioning and benefit musculoskeletal health.

Marodyne LiV can be used preventatively by those worried about their bone health. There are no side-effects or contraindications of using Marodyne LiV for prolonged periods of time.

Children and young people with bone-damaging diseases and conditions:

Achieving peak bone mass is a critical determinant of life-long skeletal health. Bone mass develops from birth to around the age of 30; after that, it begins to slowly decline. Finding therapies to increase peak bone mass in children is critical if they have a disease or other limitation that prevents them from being active.

Scientific evidence has established that Low-intensity Vibration is a safe, non-drug intervention for children and young people with conditions that impede their normal bone development, such as Duchenne muscular dystrophy, cerebral palsy, eating disorders or medications like corticosteroids.

Reduce falls

Low intensity Vibration stimulates blood circulation and lymphatic flow, improving leg strength. Stronger legs improve flexibility and mobility, giving users a greater sense of freedom and independence.

By stimulating and restoring the dynamic action of muscle fibres in the legs, Marodyne LiV can improve a person’s balance, postural reflexes, and coordination – helping to increase independence and reduce falls and fractures.
