Improving bone and muscle mass in children

Maximising peak bone mass

The Marodyne LiV device is a Low-intensity Vibration platform certified to naturally enhance bone and muscle development, with no known side effects or contraindications.

All in just 10 minutes a day.

Cerebral Palsy

A study of children with cerebral palsy compared the results of six months of Low-intensity Vibration therapy to standing.

The researchers recorded increased cortical bone strength in the Low-intensity Vibration group.

Duchenne muscular dystrophy

“All enrolled patients completed the 14-month study, and all subjects tolerated the treatment well and declared they had been happy to use the LIV platforms. Neither subjects nor parents reported any discomfort, inconvenience, or adverse effects.” (Bianchi et al., 2022)

Idiopathic Scoliosis

A study into girls with adolescent idiopathic scoliosis found using Low-intensity Vibration therapy for 12 months resulted in a significant increase to bone mineral density in the femoral neck and lumbar spine.

Childhood cancer

A study of childhood cancer survivors five years from diagnosis, found 12 months of Low-intensity Vibration therapy significantly increased whole body bone mineral density and tibial trabecular bone compared to a placebo device.

Impaired Mobility

In one 6 month placebo-controlled study, Low-intensity Vibration therapy was used with children with disabling conditions that impaired their ability to walk.

The group using a Low-intensity Vibration device displayed an 18% benefit to proximal tibial trabecular bone quality compared to the placebo control group.

The Marodyne LiV device

Certified by the British Standards Institute (BSI) as a class IIa medical device

The Marodyne LiV is a natural and gentle way to improve the bone and muscle health of children and young adults. Using gentle, targeted vibrations, the Marodyne LiV device stimulates the body’s stem cells to encourage bone and muscle growth.

The device has no known side effects or contraindications and can be used at home. Each session only takes 10 minutes a day.
